  • Individual (in Person)

    Allows for uninterrupted focus. Sessions maximize personalized support and feedback as well as giving students the space to express doubts and confusions without feeling self-conscious around peers. $100/hr

  • Individual (Remote)

    The convenience of a remote session is a time-efficient option. A recording of the iPad whiteboard and an AI transcript and summary of the Zoom meeting allows a student to review session notes later. $85/hr

  • Study Group (in person)

    Often, students form study groups. A shared session is an excellent option for these students. The collaborative arrangement can stimulate ideas, address shared questions, and reduce individual cost. $70/hr per student

  • Home Visit

    The logistics of managing a family are tough. Streamline support for the academic needs of multiple students with a home visit. In Person rates apply. Two-hour minimum. Subject to availability. Contact to discuss.

  • A brief post-session summary to parents on concepts covered and appraisal of student understanding and mastery may also include:

    • identification of critical skill deficits

    • resources for independent practice

    • updates on progress of written work

    • suggestions to grow academic habits

  • Over the coming year, a well-vetted and organized bank of links and videos for the big ideas and specific concepts of all high school courses will be built and continually refined. Clients can visit the bank at their leisure for timely support.

  • On occasion, a question is posed that I don't feel confident addressing in the moment with accuracy. This is a teachable moment. I will let the student know I am unsure and we will briefly brainstorm the best keywords to use for a web search to model independent problem solving skills. If a quick answer does present itself, however, for efficiency I may table the question. In this case, later that same day I'll investigate and report back my findings so the student is sure to have the support and explanations they deserve.

  • There are times when parents wrestle with a difficult educational decision or need advice on how to navigate an interaction with a teacher or how to support and motivate a child. In those times when a non-biased perspective is needed, my professional input is available to current clients.
